Imagining the future is necessary; it allows us to transcend our time, to dream of new solutions and better worlds.

The ability to imagine connects the evolution of consciousness with a turning point in the development of the human brain.  The ability to visualise the future marked a dramatic shift in the conscious human being, and remains a challenging subject in contemporary life.

Future Dreaming aims to connect this evolution of imagining with the question of how present day narratives inform the world we live in and the world that will become.

The artworks and dialogues around the artworks form a critical focus for the entire project.

As further exhibitions are developed with guest curators, new dialogues, new works, new locations and new contexts are created.
